Pedro Rafael Ramos Kuznecov was born in Valencia, Venezuela, and from a young age, he showed that the goal was his place in the world. His career as a professional goalkeeper led him to compete in some of the most demanding scenarios in South American soccer, represent his country in elite international tournaments, and today he channels all that experience into training the next generation of goalkeepers in Doral, Florida.
A Career Forged in Argentina and Venezuela
Pedro began his professional career in Argentina, one of the countries with the strongest soccer culture in the world. He wore the jerseys of historic clubs such as River Plate, San Lorenzo de Almagro, and Argentinos Juniors, three institutions with a tradition and demand that few footballers have the privilege of experiencing. This Argentinian training provided him with a technical and competitive foundation that would shape the rest of his career.
Back in Venezuela, Pedro continued his career in the First and Second Divisions of Venezuelan soccer, defending the goal for clubs such as Caracas FC, Academia Puerto Cabello, Carabobo FC, and Hermandad Gallega — teams with real prominence in Venezuelan national soccer.
National Team: South American Championships and a World Cup
The most outstanding chapter of his playing career was his time with the youth categories of the Venezuelan National Team. Pedro represented the Vinotinto in the U-12, U-15, and U-17 categories, participating in two U-17 South American Championships and the U-17 World Cup held in the United Arab Emirates. In the U-17 South American Championship, he achieved the runner-up position, one of the most important achievements in the recent history of Venezuelan youth soccer.
Reaching a soccer World Cup is something that less than 1% of the world's footballers achieve. That level of international competition — facing teams from all five continents — forged in Pedro a reading of the game, a mentality, and an experience that he now directly transmits to his athletes in every training session.
National Recognition and Extraordinary Talent Visa
His sports career was recognized with the Francisco de Miranda Award in Venezuela, one of the most important awards granted by the Venezuelan State to outstanding citizens in their field. Additionally, the United States granted him an EB-1 extraordinary talent visa, a highly selective process reserved for individuals who have demonstrated proven excellence at an international level in their field.
Elite Academic Background
Pedro understands that high-performance soccer is not just physical and technical — it is also strategic and mental. For this reason, he complemented his sports career with an exceptional academic background: he obtained a full scholarship at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Sonora Norte Campus, where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Strategy with two specializations in Marketing and International Business. He later completed a Master's degree in Data Analysis, which allows him to apply a metrics- and analysis-based approach to sports performance.
More Than a Decade of Training to Teach
For over 10 years, Pedro has continuously trained through the Venezuelan Football Federation's training modules, specializing in goalkeeper training from recreational categories to high-performance competitive levels. This combination — experience playing at professional and international levels, top-tier academic training, and specific training in coaching methodology — is what makes Academia AEA a unique program in the Miami area.
Academia AEA: The Life Project
Today Pedro directs Academia AEA in Doral, Florida, with a clear mission: to give each goalkeeper the tools he himself had to seek for years. Technique, physicality, mentality, and tactics — the same four pillars that led him to stand between the posts in a World Cup.
